Our Environmental Justice Endorsements

WE ACT 4 Change assess candidates for its endorsements for elections impacting the communities in Northern Manhattan based on public candidates forums, which invite all candidates regardless of party to participate, along with a survey of questions regarding environmental and climate justice issues. The WE ACT 4 Change Civic Engagement team provides the results of these surveys along with summaries from the candidates forums to the WE ACT 4 Change Board of Directors, making recommendations to endorse or abstain from endorsing a specific candidate in any given election. Those candidates who receive an endorsement are then informed, and WE ACT 4 Change communicates that endorsement via its website, email newsletter, and social media channels.
