We conduct candidates forums for elections impacting the communities in Northern Manhattan. Based on these public forums, which invite all candidates regardless of party to participate, along with a survey of questions regarding environmental and climate justice issues, is how WE ACT 4 Change assess candidates for its endorsements. The WE ACT 4 Change Civic Engagement team provides the results of these surveys along with summaries from the candidates forums to the WE ACT 4 Change Board of Directors, making recommendations to endorse or opt not to endorse a specific candidate in any given election. Those candidates who receive an endorsement are then informed, and WE ACT 4 Change communicates that endorsement via its website, email newsletter, and social media channels.

2024 Candidate Endorsements

WE ACT 4 Change is now reviewing candidates to endorse in the 2024 Elections. We invite all candidates running for an office in New York City or New York State that represents the people of Northern Manhattan (West Harlem, Central Harlem, East Harlem, Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, and Inwood) to complete this form.
